What is ZWCAD?

ZWCAD is a CAD (Computer Aided Design or Computer Aided Drafting) software application for 2D and 3D design and drafting. ZWCAD Software is available in Professional, Standard and Academic versions ^[1] in English, Japanese, Polish, Czech, Spanish, German, Korean, Italian, Russian, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese(Traditional), Turkish, Hungarian, French and Portuguese.^[2]

Many of ZWCAD's icons and commands bare close resemblance to that of CAD editor AutoCAD.^[3] First released in 2002 as version 1.0^[4], ZWCAD is powered by IntelliCAD. ZWCAD Software Co., Ltd. is a member of the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium ^[5] and the Open Design Alliance.
